Innovative Approach to Disaster Nursing: ECoDN-HUB

The ECoDN-HUB project is an international collaboration offering innovative solutions in disaster nursing. Coordinated by Akdeniz University Faculty of Nursing, this Erasmus+ project aims to enhance nurses' competencies in emergency decision-making through Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)-based learning tools.

With partners from Türkiye, Finland, Czechia, and Romania, ECoDN-HUB focuses on developing key disaster nursing skills such as patient assessment, triage, and emergency response using interactive, scenario-based simulations.

The project promotes both individual and team-based learning through multi-user training modules, cloud-based content management, and immersive educational experiences — setting a new standard in disaster nursing education.
